If you aren’t doing anything with your death knight (assuming you can make one) and say maybe you need a gathering alt, they make a great fit. Yes, druids are a bit better, but we’ll cover that at a later date.

Death knights offer a level 55-58 starting character that when specced unholy have a serious speed boost plus a free epic mount after completing a few quests (which are awesome). All told, a death knight is great for gathering things. Or tanking things. Or running lower level instances.

Really, a death knight is a one per server get out of leveling free card. Use it to your advantage. Need money and don’t have a ton of time? Get a death knight.
