Brewfest has been going on for a few days now and will continue on until October 3rd. During this time you can get your drink on and lets face it, get completely tanked for some of the quests. In general, this event is more important for achievements than anything else as for some people it’s the last holiday to go through until they get that shiny Violet Proto-Drake.
For the rest of us, the event is just a lot of fun. I wish I could say there were some great gold making opportunities, but aside form the boss run and maybe some mage ports, it’s really very laid back. Amassing tokens is more a matter of doing the initial quests and then keeping up with the daily quests like the barking for ____, ram racing (every 18 hours), and the Dark Iron events (every 30 minutes).
Tip on the ram racing: Bind up a key for the leather belt and use that to power the ram. Make sure to know where all the apple bins are as well and keep the ram at full speed. You don’t have to stop at the apple bins to get rid of the fatigue, merely pass by them.
Aside from that, have fun, run through the achievements, and use every excuse you can find to get drunk.
