Postal is a mailbox enhancement addon with a lot of nifty features and is practically a required addon for any player, not just the ones trying to make more gold. Features like Blackbook, CarbonCopy, DoNotWant, Express, OpenAll, Rake, Select, TradeBlock, and Wire all come together to form a much easier mailing experience. Why is game mail such a big deal? Because it’s efficiency. And efficiency really counts when you start making gold.

Death Knight as a Workhorse

If you aren’t doing anything with your death knight (assuming you can make one) and say maybe you need a gathering alt, they make a great fit. Yes, druids are a bit better, but we’ll cover that at a later date.

Death knights offer a level 55-58 starting character that when specced unholy have a serious speed boost plus a free epic mount after completing a few quests (which are awesome). All told, a death knight is great for gathering things. Or tanking things. Or running lower level instances.

Banking Alt

A banking alt is simply an alternate character stationed at a capital city to take in mail and either bank items or put them up on the auction house. Simple enough idea, but if you don’t have one, make one because they are invaluable to making gold in this game. Making one isn’t hard either as 99% of banking alts are level 1.

Banking alts serve as a focal point for items that any character near a mail box can send to. This lets your main or other alts dump the goods to sell to a single character and continue as normal without having to rush to an auction house. Banking alts can also store items if your other characters don’t have space or if they aren’t actively using certain items.
